<li background:='''' border:='''' box-sizing:='''' font-weight:='''' margin:='''' padding:='''' style='''' vertical-align:=''''>-At the lowest casing shoe.</li>

The duty station in both these operations is the Driller's console, which includes brakes, throttles, clutches and various gauges.</li>
<li background:='''' border:='''' box-sizing:='''' font-weight:='''' margin:='''' padding:='''' style='''' vertical-align:=''''>Must be confident with use of Top Drive system same as Kelly system.</li>

<li background:='''' border:='''' box-sizing:='''' font-weight:='''' margin:='''' padding:='''' style='''' vertical-align:=''''>Limit the wear of the rig engines by asking the Chief mechanic to start or stop engines, depending on operations and power demand.</li>

<li background:='''' border:='''' box-sizing:='''' font-weight:='''' margin:='''' padding:='''' style='''' vertical-align:=''''>The driller is able to raise and lower the drill stem, run the casing, make connections.</li>
<li background:='''' border:='''' box-sizing:='''' font-weight:='''' margin:='''' padding:='''' style='''' vertical-align:=''''>Driller must know how to control the mud pumps, the speed of the rotary table (TDS) and adjust the weight on bit.</li>
<li background:='''' border:='''' box-sizing:='''' font-weight:='''' margin:='''' padding:='''' style='''' vertical-align:=''''>He also must also be able to set and adjust Auto-drill and E-driller.</li>
<li background:='''' border:='''' box-sizing:='''' font-weight:='''' margin:='''' padding:='''' style='''' vertical-align:=''''>The driller must not raise the blocks until the derrickman is ready and confirm so; the traveling blocks must be at the rotary table level.</li>
