As a , we empower you to be yourself, share ideas and work collaboratively Job Title Reliability Engineering Lead As a Reliability Engineering Lead, you will manage and lead a number of Reliability Engineers in the Reliability team working across ZSC consisting of the Ulverston primary site and the Barnard Castle secondary site. In this role you will… Ensure that Maintenance of Plant and Facilities is in accordance with relevant standards. Analyse reliability of equipment and improve through adjustments with the maintenance team or define project requirement and follow project implementation with the project team. Carry out data gathering, interpretation and analysis of all CBM data and accurately report findings to the appropriate team leader to optimise equipment reliability/ uptime. Review and analyse maintenance data history relating to downtime, MTBF, costs, spares usage etc. Use data to generate KPI’s, and support development of continuous improvement activities and improved equipment maintenance strategies. Provide technical expertise and support the Project Engineering function and Technical Review Process (TRP) during the design and installation stages of projects for new assets and modification of existing assets. Ensure the reliability and maintainability through the life of those assets by defining optimal maintenance life plans. Co-ordinate with planners to ensure planned maintenance activities relating to the job role are scheduled and completed in good time, balancing workload, and plant availability. Support and engage with other GSK sites, above site GSK functions, and other industries to improve equipment reliability by shared knowledge and learning. Support the implementation of relevant GSK Global Engineering Standards and SOPs. Support equipment failure investigations though data analysis tools and techniques (e.g. RCA, FMCA). Co-ordinate 3rd party material failures analysis. Accurately record and report all maintenance activities within M-ERP and other relevant software to provide documented evidence to provide a clear audit trail. Be part of the ZSC Technical Authority register, on a variety of themes and GSK Global Engineering standards. Our Pharmaceutical Supply Chain (PSC) business is responsible for making and supplying our pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products around the globe. The PSC organisation is involved with every production stage from the infrastructure of the manufacturing sites, supply forecasting, regulatory inspections, and the product’s quality. Why you?  Qualifications & Skills: Must have a minimum of HNC in an Engineering discipline. Experience of maintenance in a GMP pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment. Project Engineering or technical design experience. Competent to make Engineering change approvals. Preferred Qualifications & Skills: Knowledge Degree or equivalent in relevant engineering related subject ZSC Divestment The ZSC Business has been sold to an external company. It is GSK’s proposal to close its ZSC manufacturing operations once the technology transfer to the buyer is complete and the Manufacturing and Supply Agreement has come to an end. At this time, and in the absence of any other alternative, GSK would be proposing to close the ZSC sites. GSK would explore all options for retraining, supporting employees who might be at the risk of redundancy. During the expected 2-4 years duration, the successful candidate will be able to make a significant impact at ZSC and GSK.
