Job Overview Role: Sr. Enterprise Integration Architect Location: Mumbai The Digital and Technology team of General Mills India Centre is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to contribute to the Global Digital Transformation initiative at General Mills in capacity of an Sr. Enterprise Integration Architect. This role will report into Head- Enterprise Architecture, Strategy and Innovation in India and functionally collaborate with global Enterprise Technology, Strategy and Architecture team. It is an Individual contributor role. The Senior Enterprise Integration Architect will be a critical role within ETSAI (Enterprise Technology Strategy, Architecture & Innovation) group of General Mill’s D&T (Digital and Technology) organization and will act as an advisor to leadership to develop overall integration architecture strategy and vision for highly complex business and technical needs across multiple business units, spanning across the globe. This role will partner closely with the platform teams to ensure a performant and resilient integration architecture. Additionally, the Senior Enterprise Integration Architect will work closely with Product Owners to determine their goals and outcomes, eliciting and analyzing requirements and creating tech strategy and architecture to enable both current as well as future needs. Role Responsibilities • Lead Enterprise Integration Architecture and related technical strategies providing thought leadership in the areas of API enablement, Integration Platform Solutioning, Integration governance and Data & Application Integration. • Lead strategic initiatives around maturing General Mills’ Integration capabilities • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and technologies and recommend new solutions in the Integration space. • Collaboratively develop and guide the implementation of General Mills’ Integration technology roadmap. • Lead discovery projects, pilots and experiments in the Integration space. • Lead the development of principles, patterns, reference architectures & governing standards for Integration that will enable reuse and standardization. • Strategically engage with stakeholders across General Mills and serve as an expert advisor to leadership on Integration Architecture topics. • Consult, advise, provide expertise to Architects, Developers & Project teams on Integration Architecture topics. • Facilitate Integration Architecture review forum with solutions Architects, Developers and Project teams to ensure alignment to Integration Reference Architectures & Standards. Must - have technical skills and experience • BE/B.Tech Computer Science / MTech/PhD degree or equivalent in Computer Science. • Minimum 12 years of IT experience across multiple technology areas including Data & Software development and Solutions Architecture. • Deep understanding of modern integration technologies and patterns including REST, GraphQL and iPaaS • Experience developing Architecture patterns and standards including current, target and reference architectures. • Experience in architecting solutions using modern integration methodologies – Microservices, Pub/Sub and even-driven architecture. • Ability to research, plan, organize, lead, and implement new business solutions. • Ability to work with cross functional and global teams. • Ability to quickly learn and apply new capabilities in partnership with other Architects. • Strong relationship management and leadership skills. • Effective verbal and written communication and influencing skills. • Comfort with informing, influencing, and presenting to leadership. • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. • Strong technical leadership skills.
