For more information, please visit www.wipro.com Role: Kubernetes Architect Location : Dallas, TX The senior Kubernetes Architect needs to work for developing/engineering of solutions to maximize system reliability & automation. The person will work with a team responsible for a mission critical business function, and will partner with Infrastructure, DevOps and Core practices like Security, Identity, CloudOps, Cloud platform and tools teams to identify and implement automation opportunities to optimize, secure, enhance performance, and improve overall system reliability. The candidate should have work experience working as SRE/Operations/DevOps roles running distributed systems and Experience with automated provisioning and management of AWS/Azure infrastructure and services. Own the Infrastructure, APM and work with DevOps teams to Build, Release, Monitor and run the services to improve service reliably. At least 1-2 years of working experience on Rafay or similar platform would be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: Migration of workloads From On-prem kubernetes cluster and other cloud enabled kubernetes cluster to Rafay managed cluster(s) Work with different technical teams to solve the issues during migration which includes working session with teams, vendors. Conduct Demos of PoCs of different strategic solutions and testing the same. Be a subject matter expert, able to upskill / cross skill engineering teams on SRE principles, tools and execution Kuberentes Debugging skills, Linux OS Debugging skills Troubleshoot, debug, and diagnose operational issues and drive them to closure. Experience: Extensive Experience with various Kubernetes platforms (EKS, AKS, GKE) Experience with scripting and orchestration including Terraform Experience with public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) Experience working with CICD Tools like Jenkins and ADO Excellent hands-on experience with Unix/Linux-OS Internals and administration. Excellent hands-on of Containerization using platforms` and tools like – Kubernetes, Docker etc. Understanding of software delivery lifecycles, particularly Agile/Lean & DevOps Required Skills: Hands on experience with AWS & Azure PaaS, CaaS,IaaS and other cloud infrastructure components. Must have expert level knowledge of Kubernetes & Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Production experience working with K8s, EKS, AKS, OpenShift. Etc. for design, build and operate. AWS/Azure Certified Solutions Architect -Associate, AWS Certified Cloud practitioner. If you only meet some of the requirements for this role, that's okay!!!
