NJVC is glad to be supporting the Foundation Sustainment Services (FS2) contract that will establish the acquisition framework for delivering the full scope of information technology services and capabilities to support the Information Technology (IT) sustainment services for the Foundation GEOINT Integrated Program Office (IPF) and the FG capabilities/services in support of the NGA’s Source Operations & Management Directorate’s Foundation GEOINT Group (SF).  The Test and Evaluation Engineer will effectively lead test activities to meet mission goals while analyzing system requirements, concepts of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop evaluation and test plans and procedures, prepare for and conduct the data collection and analysis, and report status and results. Responsibilities Work you’ll do   As a Test and Evaluation Engineer within our Foundation Sustainment Services (FS2) team, you will:  Provide leadership and guidance to the test team, overseeing test activities specific to the assigned project. Communicate test activities and/or results to the Project Leads, Product Owners, and Customers as needed during the Agile Process. Participate in software audits (package and release audits) conducted by the Quality Control team. Function as Liaison between Program Manager, government, and contract POCs. Support the development of government test and evaluation documentation e.g., Test & Evaluation Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and T&E Reports. Work with other test organizations to support T&E program integration. Provide specialized T&E capabilities tailored to system functions, level, maturity, and performance areas. Execute test plans and procedures and confirm results of automated tests. Train new hires on automated testing and VDI setup. Design and implement automated testing tools when possible and update tools as needed to ensure currency and accuracy. Manage customer communications, i.e., Customer Boards and visits to the customer site. Be able to work and produce results on an independent basis. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED and 4+ years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience OR Master’s degree with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience Background check required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. Ability to drive to St. Louis, MO office 1 day a week. Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting. Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals. Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others. Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications. Experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues. Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone with good phone skills and a professional demeanor. Previous customer service experience strongly desired. Good problem-solving skills with the ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it.
