<b>Role Summary: </b><br />
<br />
The Applications Engineer , Completions &amp; Well Intervention, ensures Baker Hughes can deliver flawless execution through involvement in pre-planning, job execution, and post job analysis. This position delivers a technical job program that maximizes our opportunity to meet the job objectives in line with the contract terms and conditions . This position works seamlessly together with the Service Delivery Coordinators and other resources across organizational boundaries to ensure all aspects and constraints of the application is understood and has been considered.<br />
<br />
<b>Essential Responsibilities:</b></p>

<ul>
<li>Ensure compliance with MtJC process</li>
<li>Work with the assigned Service Delivery Coordinator/Sales person to understand the clients well construction or production objectives as well as the commercial terms for Baker Hughes (i.e. outcome based contract, line item contract etc...)</li>
<li>Perform offset well / similar job analysis to understand application hazards and incident potential</li>
<li>Work together with all disciplines and stakeholders to ensure all aspects and constraints of the application and suggested products/services has been considered</li>
<li>Design a job program s including product selection that fits the job requirement , including provide risk mitigation plans and contingency plans, that can meet the clients objective and maximize revenue potential and future job assignments for Baker Hughes</li>
<li>Work with the Service Delivery Coordinator/Sales person to ensure any risk of meeting the clients objective is communicated to the client using the appropriate channels/processes for the respective clien&nbsp;</li>
<li>Accurately document any calculations/simulations/plan revision and/or changes during the project cycles for visibility to dependent teams and audit purposes.</li>
<li>Provide on-demand support in accordance with product portfolio or on-call schedule for job execution</li>
<li>Compare job as planned versus job as executed and document any lessons learned globally to ensure opportunity for continuous improvement</li>
<li>Ensure timely incident management to enable fast customer issue resolution and cash collection</li>
<li>Advise on product improvement opportunities for repetitive component / product failure&nbsp;</li>
<li>Responsible for providing sales support and product application recommendations</li>
<li>PL specific requirements as applicable</li>
</ul>

<p><b>PL Specific:</b></p>

<ul>
<li>Where needed, support reliability team considering the end-to-end process, from job planning, preparation, execution in order to determine the incident root cause and drive appropriate corrective actions to enable flawless execution&nbsp;</li>
<li>Coordinate and analyze pre/post job laboratory testing</li>
<li>Thorough knowledge of products, technology, laboratory capabilities, and field equipment capabilities</li>
<li>Support job execution with ability to real time troubleshoot as needed</li>
</ul>

<p><b>Qualifications/Requirements:</b></p>

<ul>
<li>Bachelor&
39;s degree in engineering</li>
<li>Minimum 3 + years of relevant work experience</li>
<li>Excellent leadership, strong interpersonal, influencing and planning skills.</li>
<li>Ability to manage, develop, coach and mentor teams across organizational boundaries</li>
<li>Ability to be on call outside of normal business hour&nbsp;</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to work in a global matrix organization</li>
<li>Thorough understanding of P/L and technical job planning requirements</li>
<li>Excellent communication and presentation skills</li>
<li>Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills</li>
<li>Must have the ability to travel (typically travel to rig sites, customer facilities, meetings, etc.)&nbsp;</li>
<li>Self-motivated and proactive mindset with the ability to hold accountability where applicable</li>
</ul>

<p><b>Desired Characteristics:</b></p>

<ul>
<li>Significant operational experience</li>
<li>Comfortable presenting in front of an audience of experienced peers</li>
<li>Ability to learn and use various computer tools to prepare data and visualizations for analysi&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ability to work independently</li>
