We adopt a variety of principles, concepts, technological and management methods, including reservoir performance and subsurface profiling, flow assurance boundary conditions and system operability to offer innovative and cutting-edge solutions.<br><br><b>Partner with the best</b><br><br>As the Offshore Power and Communication systems Leader, you will be part of the leadership of a global engineering team and will be managing a team of electrical and hydraulic analysis engineers. You will provide technical and functional leadership, support on tenders and systems engineering management for project execution. Your team will be involved in all stages of project lifecycle including FEED studies, tenders, project execution, services and New Product Introduction (NPI).<br><br>You will also be responsible for:<br><ul><li>Supporting the OFSE commercial organization in identifying and pursuing opportunities and project enablement</li><li>Performing engineering for communications and power as part of front end, tendering and execution of projects</li><li>Producing preliminary performance results identifying key and marginal parameters and system expansion limitations</li><li>Providing input on tenders and projects to achieve customer performance requirements, defining all information to undertake electrical power and signal analyses</li><li>Providing input on hydraulic assessments of piping, chemical cores and subsea hardware defining the optimum subsea architecture and operational philosophies</li><li>Leading the selection of the best electro-hydraulic system solution including umbilical and jumper definition, power performance and control system interfaces</li><li>Selecting commercially available software modelling packages to perform detailed electrical power and signal performance analysis considering worst and best-case operating conditions</li><li>Creating performance reports ensuring that key system criteria and limitations are highlighted. Ensuring the analysis is re-run when key data changes</li><li>Collaborating with systems engineers supporting the design of power and communication networks, selecting adequate components to ensure an optimal system solution</li><li>Ensure that the System Engineer and Project Engineering Manager are notified of performance restrictions, required interlocks etc.</li><li>Participating in R&D activities, technical investigation and studies to support detail design activities by product specialists</li><li>Developing internal systems and processes for undertaking engineering tasks leading to safe and successful delivery of jobs</li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will have:<br><ul><li>A Degree in an engineering related subject</li><li>Significant Domain expertise across the following: Field architecture/Flow assurance/process engineering/Subsea Production Systems/Risers, flowlines and pipelines/Control systems/Constructability and installation</li><li>Practical knowledge of all aspects of the oil and gas system production modelling capabilities</li><li>Demonstrable depth of experience in engineering and people leadership within a multi-disciplinary environment including project planning, executing, customer interfacing, and close-out</li><li>Broad knowledge of processes, methods and procedures within project and engineering management</li><li>A sound and proven understanding of electrical power, transmission line theory and communications systems</li><li>Competent in engineering mathematics</li><li>Capability in the use of P-Spice/Orcad and Mathcad (Matrices and FFT's).</li><li>Ability to synthesize information, identify problems, establish facts and deduce solutions</li><li>Availability to travel internationally for project needs and for meetings and interfaces ( <li>Good time management skills and ability to perform to focused schedules</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written</li></ul><br><br><b> Work in a way that works for you </b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
