ADVISOR - RESERVOIR ENGINEER (HEAVY OIL)

<p>Heavy Oil - Building integrated plans (Surface and Subsurface)</p>

<p><strong>Job Scope</strong></p>

<li>Strong business acumen skills and practical understanding of costs (capital, operating, life cycle)</li>
<li>Broad range of experience from preparation of the conceptual studies stage, project proposal to commissioning the facility</li>
<li>Be able to actively influence a wide range of stakeholders. Excellent communicator - both verbal and oral. Excellent relationship building skills & ability to challenge the status quo relentlessly without alienating peers and more senior colleagues and partners</li>
<li>Comfortable with ambiguity, able to operate successfully within a changing brief and able to enthusiastically embrace and drive change</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Reservoir Engineering</li>
<li>20+ years of experience minimum in a broad spectrum of Upstream Hydrocarbon Production and Processing</li>
<li>Significant experience in field development and project management of Conventional Oil / Heavy Oil</li>
<li>Must have extensive experience with application of a staged-gate project management process</li>
<li>Must be able to express him/herself well in written and spoken English</li>
<li>Must have extensive experience with the front end of projects, including developing the business case and evaluating alternatives to provide the best business value</li>
<li>Must have experience with managing a portfolio of work, including prioritizing the diverse activities</li>
<li>Must have strong planning and organizing ability</li>
<li>Must have good understanding of business drivers and the ability to align design philosophies</li>
<li>Subsurface expertise and Operations supervision experience is highly desirable.</li>
