The GSK global DMPK organization is looking for a DMPK Project Specialist (Associate Director) to join the Discovery DMPK Project Specialist group, based in either Stevenage, UK or Philadelphia, USA. The candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of therapeutic antibody drug discovery (preferably including bispecifics and ADCs) and a keen interest in understanding the translational PKPD of antibody-based molecules. Working collaboratively with key matrix project team members (i.e. Project Leader, Biopharm Discovery, DMPK Modelling, Biology Lead etc.), across different therapeutic areas, you will be responsible for designing and delivering the DMPK strategy to ensure project progression through to FTIH. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: Provide DMPK input into project strategy and DMPK data interpretation for Discovery stage therapeutic antibody projects up to Phase 1 clinical trials. Efficiently manage your time and project requests and be accountable for DMPK deliverables to ensure effective support of your projects. Ensure that translational PKPD approaches are at the heart of project strategy and used to design key biology and lead characterisation activities aligned with the needs of efficacious human dose prediction Implement best practices and share insight across the DMPK specialists group to help drive and embed strategic direction. Develop and maintain excellent working relations with key matrix partners in Discovery project teams, to ensure strategic alignment and optimal collaboration and communication. Responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality DMPK contributions to governance documents for the projects you support. Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: MS Degree with 7+ years in a field relevant to DMPK (e.g., Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Pharmacokinetics or Drug Metabolism) PhD with 3+ years in a field relevant to DMPK (e.g., Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Pharmacokinetics or Drug Metabolism) Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: PhD in a field relevant to DMPK (e.g., Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Pharmacokinetics or Drug Metabolism) with >5 years drug discovery experience Experience of DMPK Project Representation in Discovery with a variety of therapeutic antibody formats (e.g. mAbs, bispecifics, ADCs etc) Experience in developing Translational PKPD strategies and leveraging modeling approaches in Discovery projects for human dose predictions. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with peers and across matrix Project Teams. Excellent communication skills and high learning agility. Ability to manage project resources and budgets. An enthusiastic collaborator with a proven track record of building relationships and supporting high-performing teams from multiple disciplines.
