<b>Role Overview</b><br />
<br />
Seeking a senior level consultant to work within our Power and New Energy practice. The candidate(s) will be a member of the team providing strategic and technical consulting services to the power and financial sectors.<br />
<br />
The experienced candidate will demonstrate extensive knowledge of more than one of the following activities:</p>

<ul>
<li>New development configuration, concept and feasibility</li>
<li>Annual Energy Production calculations</li>
<li>Technical due diligence</li>
<li>Planning and capital investment</li>
</ul>

The role provides opportunities to tailor bespoke services to suit a diverse set of clients, working to deliver services, participating in business development and to be a key member of the practice.<br />
<br />
As a Wind Energy Expert, you will support the delivery of consultancy assignments for large-scale Wind projects worldwide. Our projects range from site identification and resource assessment, to pre-development and bankable feasibility studies, to Owner&
39;s Engineer and Project Management Consultancy for engineering, construction and O&amp;M phases.<br />
<br />
Using your deep technical knowledge of Wind power generation technology and understanding of the Wind Energy Industry, you will contribute in close cooperation with other disciplines and project managers, to the development of feasibility and conceptual studies, preliminary design &amp; cost estimate studies, wind resource assessments and yield analysis, technical Due Diligences and the provision of technical advisory services in accordance with the project requirements and any applicable statutory and regulatory specification.<br />
<br />
<b>Specific Accountabilities</b></p>

<ul>
<li>Execution of the following technical activities:
<ul>
<li>Yield Assessments and optimisation of Wind Farms</li>
<li>Definition of Basis of Design and Technical Specification for Wind Farms</li>
<li>Definition of the Wind Farm layout</li>
<li>Equipment specification and selection (e.g. wind turbine models, electrical BoP)</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Delivery of consultancy services, such as Feasibility and Conceptual Studies, Financial Models, Cost Estimates, Market Studies and Due Diligences , FEED ,DD.</li>
<li>Lead configuration studies for major greenfield / brownfield wind energy investments</li>
<li>Support marketing and business development activities for consulting services</li>
<li>Review of the Design of a Wind farms to ensure that the engineering developed by the EPC contractor meets the project requirements and any applicable statutory and regulatory specification</li>
<li>Potentially act as and be recognised as a &
39;Subject Matter Expert&
39; for Power technologies across Organization</li>
</ul>

<b>Required Skills and Experience</b></p>

<ul>
<li>Extensive experience in Wind Energy project development, engineering and delivery</li>
<li>Excellent knowledge of Power and Renewable Energy technologies experience is required, particularly in the design of large Wind Energy projects</li>
<li>Able to work within a &
39;sell-do&
39; model</li>
<li>Study and Proposal Management</li>
<li>Strong self-starter and motivated to succeed</li>
<li>Practical consulting experience - including scoping, selling and delivery</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills including ability to produce concise reports and presentations appropriate for all levels.</li>
<li>Confidence to work at all levels of a client organisation</li>
<li>Identify new opportunities and leads</li>
<li>Engineering Degree required. Master of Science preferred</li>
<li>Technical competences:
<ul>
<li>Deep knowledge of wind technology and the execution of large projects</li>
<li>Good knowledge of design software: WindFarmer, WAsP</li>
<li>Technical Advisory experience (e.g. PMC, Owners Engineer, LTA, etc.) is preferred, but not mandatory</li>
<li>Financial analysis and Technical due diligence experience</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>International experience is required (multinational companies or across different countries and professional cultures)</li>
<li>Technical / hands-on profile with good communication</li>
<li>English is requirement (written and spoken), other languages are a plus</li>
</ul>
