For more information about Bristol Myers Squibb, visit us at BMS.com/ie The Role BMS Cruiserath Biologics is seeking to recruit a permanent Manager, Data Intelligence & Analytics who will support, maintain, and develop the business-critical PI Data Analytics Systems (PDAS) at the Cruiserath Site to ensure systems meet the business’ needs and requirements. The PDAS itself provides validated real-time data interfacing, historization, analytics functionality, visualizations, data engineering, and notification capabilities. This role is passionate about the intersection of data, manufacturing, and life sciences and will apply data engineering, analytics, and software development skills to solve problems in this domain. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of PDAS capabilities that enable the creation of innovative strategies and designs that drive effective use of the standard BMS PDAS analytics framework in context with Industry 4.0 principles. The role will collaborate within the DIA Global Biologics team, Enterprise application teams, and end user teams to understand requirements, communicate status with site functions, and conduct necessary support, change, testing and implementation activities as required. The role is accountable to maintain the systems to ensure High Availability, execute changes, upgrades, and incident management in compliance with all GMP procedures and requirements. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the integration of PDAS with manufacturing, lab instruments, enterprise systems, real-time scheduling systems, process Control systems, MES systems, IIOT devices, and the wider data analytics technology stack. Provide leadership and development of innovative analytics solutions leveraging PDAS capabilities including Asset Framework (AF), AF Analysis, Event Frames (EF), PI Vision, and Notifications across the BMS network. Administer, troubleshoot, install, configure, and monitor PDAS, interfaces, and tools to ensure high-availability as per Service Level Agreements using ServiceNow ITSM. Responsible for developing collaborative partnerships within Digital Plant, the Site Analytics Model team, Business Insights & Analytics, Enterprise Data Lake, Enterprise PDAS team, MS&T as well as End User groups to deliver business value. Create, update, and maintain system documentation templates to reflect best practices. Define, develop, and execute continuous system improvements. Recommend and execute proactive updates to the PDAS Strategic Roadmap. Rapidly innovate using of proof of concepts, pilots, and agile development practices. Proactively identify and resolve system issues before they arise. Maintain the PDAS in a cyber-safe audit ready state at all times. Install, configure, and maintain the lifecycle of the PDAS product suite following vendor documentation, Site and Enterprise PDAS designs, and system documentation. Maintain system training documentation curriculum and execute on training plans for End Users and Administrators. Member of the team that provides 24x7 support to ensure 100% availability of data Manage vendors and consultants where required. Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required: At least 8 years of system administration and/or support experience with strong customer relationship management skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Information Technology or related Engineering discipline preferred. Excellent problem-solving, presentation, verbal, and written communications skills. Working knowledge of S88 and S95 standards. Thorough understanding of current good manufacturing practice biopharmaceutical production setting (process development and/or manufacturing technical support). Exposure to Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning algorithms desired. Working knowledge of databases, reporting, analytic systems, data modeling, data processing, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), data management, and visualization. Knowledge of: DeltaV, Emerson Syncade, SAP, Maximo, LIMs, Discoverant, BioG, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft IIS, PowerShell desired. Familiarity with the equipment and process used during the development and manufacture of biopharmaceuticals. Working experience of Microsoft Windows Platform in a domain environment, technical knowledge of network configuration, and TCP/IP understanding desired. Experience with SQL, and Microsoft SQL server database administration desired. Proficiency with current Python, Data Analytics and Visualization tools highly desired. Understanding of cloud computing environments. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and provide escalation when required.
