Come be part of something special - start your journey today! <br><br>The Project Manager (PM) guides a team of engineers and professionals that design, build and manage complex water treatment and anaerobic digestion projects. In this role, the PM is ultimately accountable to the client and to the business for technical and financial performance of the project.<br><br>Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions (VWTS) is a worldwide leader in water recovery, treatment and reuse. We design and supply a range of water systems, from food and beverage applications, to municipal water, to microelectronics ultrapure water and heavy industrial wastewater treatment. Our portfolio of technologies includes solids-contact clarification, membrane & media filtration, ion exchange, electrolysis, aerobic/anaerobic digestion, evaporation, ozone/UV disinfection and more.<br><br>As Project Manager, you are responsible for the overall success of VWTS's equipment and infrastructure projects. Working closely with the Lead Engineer and Sourcing Project Leader, you direct and coordinate all activities on a given project, beginning with contract signature and following through process/equipment design, vendor selection, fabrication, shipment, installation and startup. You are a passionate advocate for quality and safety across every aspect of the project, and ensure the team delivers on commitments while adhering to scope, schedule and budget. Finally, you maintain project status and financial reporting to VWTS Operations while setting and managing client and vendor expectations. <br><br>The PM operates in a networked and highly flexible role. The position favors a creative, skilled communicator who approaches problems analytically and with intellectual rigor. While the PM is not a technical backstop in all areas of water treatment design, the role does require a foundation in engineering principles. Most importantly, though, the PM is able direct a team of experts and possesses a well-developed sense for when and where guidance is needed. <br><br><b>Minimum requirements:</b> <br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or and equivalent field</li><li>A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience</li><li>Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or the ability to obtain it within 1 year </li><li>Experience in Project Management</li><li>Self-motivated, quick to deliver and a team player</li><li>A demonstrated dedication to safety</li><li>Effective problem solving skills</li><li>An accomplished communicator</li></ul><br><b>Useful skills or abilities:</b> <br><ul><li>Experience managing Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) contracts preferred </li></ul><ul><li>Experience in industrial process system design/construction, specifically water treatment, chemical, oil & gas or power preferred but not required </li><li>Impeccable planning, organization and time management </li><li>Clear, concise communication skills </li><li>Team player, who can exercise good judgement under ambiguous or changing conditions </li></ul><ul><li>The role requires the ability to travel domestically and internationally 5-20% of the time </li></ul><br>We offer competitive compensation and benefits working in a dynamic environment with challenging projects and training provided to ensure your success.<br><br>At VWTS, we realize diverse teams make smarter decisions, deliver better results, and build stronger communities.
