This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established collaborative team and use your excellent relationship building and people skills to help support farming communities across England and Wales.</p>

<p><strong>Job Title: Regional Volunteer Manager (South Wales)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Salary: £30,512 + £2500 car allowance and excellent benefits</strong></p>
<p><strong>Reports to: National Volunteering Manager</strong></p>
<p><strong>Location: Home-based in patch South Wales including Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire Pembrokeshire, Monmouthshire, Glamorgan </strong></p>
<p><strong>Hours: Full time 35 Hours (condensed hours is also an option)</strong></p>
<p><strong>You must be a Welsh speaker (conversational)</strong></p>

<p>For over 160 years, our client has worked at the heart of the farming community, providing guidance, financial support, and practical care to farming people of all ages across England and Wales. Farming people face an enormous range of challenges, including unprecedented generational changes to farming policy. Our client has a crucial role to play now and into this uncertain future to support the well-being of this vital community. At the heart of this role is people, so you'll need an ability to empathise with and understand the issues facing farming communities, but it isn't essential to have prior personal experience. This well-established patch has been nurtured by a long standing team member who will be retiring.</p>
<p>As Regional Volunteer Manager, you will be the local ambassador for the charity, promoting awareness of the charity and increasing income and other support across the counties in your patch.<br />
The aim of the role is to increase awareness of the charity within the farming/rural community to enable our client to reach more people in need of support. You will encourage, motivate and support existing voluntary county committees and recruit new members where necessary.</p>
<p>You will also network with professional services (corporate's) companies, agricultural suppliers, auction marts, farming organisations, colleges, community groups and the public via meetings, presentations, attendance at local/regional agricultural shows, ploughing matches and through the local press. This is a great opportunity for a resourceful self-starter to join a collaborative team, having strong time management and highly developed organisational skills.</p>

<p>This is a busy role with regular travel so you will need to have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle. This role is homebased in patch South Wales including Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire Pembrokeshire, Monmouthshire, Glamorgan.</p>
