As part of a creative, forward-thinking team, and as an Network Architect, you will work hand-in-hand with business development, research and development, domain and consulting, systems integration, and other subject matter experts to develop optimal and differentiated solutions to be delivered on programs, in proposals, or on research and development projects. In addition to developing solutions, you will help prospective customers and partners understand the value and benefits of our solutions, explain technical features and transformation strategies, engage in proof of concepts, and troubleshoot potential problems. Responsibilities: The selected candidate will have a primary focus for SDN, Telco Cloud & Orchestration network technologies Establish our best practices, lessons learned, and technological approaches related to SDN, NFV/Telco Cloud, Containerization, Multi-access Edge Cloud (MEC), Orchestration, E2E Network Slicing, Cloud Ops, Tenant Security Framework, Micro-segmentation, Cloud Migration, and Agile DevOps Partner with the business development teams and Global Account Executives (GAEs) in supporting the shaping and development of technical solutions, basis of estimates, and industry relationships via responses to RFPs, new business reviews, white papers, customer meetings, presentations, defences and to understand and participate in the development of new business strategy assessing current and future skills and technology needs Engage with new and existing technology partners for formulation of virtualized and containerized Telco networks, MEC, Orchestration and Slicing PoVs, Architectures, Designs and project plans to ensure that solutions proposed will exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment Supports cross functional technical implementations, security and product workshops, professional services, general assessments, detailed evaluations, and final selections Development of 5G enabled solutions for sales proposals and creates strategies to win the mobility business in new markets or current accounts Analysis for requirements, performance, capacity, availability, reliability, and scalability of 5G enabled solutions Required Skills/Experience: 10-15+ years of experience working in progressive positions of technical responsibility with telecom operators in the telecom networks area to implement wireless technologies, SDN, NFV, Telco Cloud, Orchestration, Slicing technologies Must have mastered information architecture concepts, network layer models, service-oriented architecture components and understand business process flows Broad and extensive understanding of and experience in 5G, Multi-access Edge Cloud (MEC), SDN, Virtualization & Containerization, NFVi, NFVO, Network Slicing & E2E Service Orchestration (Blue Planet MDSO/Cisco NSO/Open source solutions etc.), Hyper-scaler Telco Network environments (Google, Microsoft, AWS), NaaS Implementation experience/sound knowledge on ETSI OSM MANO and ONAP, NetCONF/RESTCONF protocols, YANG models, TOSCA & REST APIs Experience with Agile methodology Certifications – Google Cloud / GCP, AWS, Azure Certifications a plus Experience having worked successful partnerships with suppliers on proposals Has been the lead Solution Architect on large value proposals and/or projects LOCATION: Denver or West Coast preferred Education: A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (Electronics & Telecommunications is preferred) is required BSS - Business Support System
