About the role As Senior Scientific Advisor, you’ll report into the Medical Affairs Director, Specialty, and provide medical and technical expertise in the development and implementation of product strategy. You’ll also be responsible for advising on various medical projects and activities and reviewing promotional and non-promotional materials. Your responsibilities will be broad and will include: Contributing insights to the development of marketing and medical strategy Participating in annual brand planning, regulatory activities, and guideline submissions Delivering medical plans, projects, and activities Ensuring compliance with the Medicines Australia Code and GSK internal codes Developing and delivering disease and product training to internal stakeholders Interacting with health care professionals where the opportunity arises Why you? You’ll have a strong technical understanding of the Medical Affairs space, using this to provide guidance to a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally. You’ll have the natural ability to link your technical knowledge to a wider enterprise strategy, and provide insights in an engaging manner. To be successful in this role you will have: Experience in a Scientific Advisor, Medical Affairs or similar role A working knowledge of the Medicines Australia Code Demonstrated experience working autonomously to understand new concepts A degree in Science, Pharmacy of Pharmacology An engaging communication style, able to work with medical & commercial stakeholders This role represents a great chance to showcase your scientific expertise in a fast paced and varied environment and a high performing, engaged and collaborative team who are genuinely motivated by the impact that our products make to patient’s lives.
