Distribution Center Unarmed Security Guard

AutoZone Guards are responsible for the security of assigned AutoZone facilities, company employees, visitors and company assets. Work schedule shall be Saturdays and Sundays 12AM until 12PM and Mondays 4PM until 12AM. Other days and hours if needed. Individual wanting a 40 hours shift will work an additional eight hour shift as decided by the Leadership Team. Responsibilities: Interacting with over-the-road drivers and AutoZone drivers Assist with direction of incoming freight Answering phones/Directing Incoming Calls Entering data into computer using YMS System Issuing passes to visitors and temporary employees Ensuring compliance with security procedures Requirements: Previous security guard experience preferred Must be willing to work any days/nights and hours as needed Must be able to follow directions in an unsupervised atmosphere Have good telephone skills Must have people skills; will be first point of contact with public Must meet performance requirements for the job Must be dependable attendance and prompt
