Senior Structural Engineer (Offshore)

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is looking for TPE IV / Senior Structural Engineer t o work on the engineering and project management services in Al Khobar office <br><br><ul><li> Have experience in the oil / gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, infrastructure industries on large to mega projects </li><li> Prepares and reviews engineering studies, design drawings and documents, and material and equipment specifications </li><li> Must have working knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications </li><li> Demonstrates ability to work with others </li><li> Prepares and reviews engineering studies, design drawings and documents </li><li> Resolves specialty related engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards </li><li> Aware of appropriate codes of practice and standards </li><li> Aware of and able to use design and assessment methods under supervision </li><li> Aware of analytical methods used within discipline and theoretical background for analysis programs </li><li> Able to identify personal training / education opportunities </li><li> Highly motivated with an innovative and analytical mind </li><li> Able to communicate ideas to both senior and junior personnel </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Degree in Civil, Structural Engineering </li><li> Minimum 5years' experience in the oil and gas industry working for an established contractor, operator, or consultancy </li><li> Must have recorded experience working in offshore structural engineering and design environment </li><li> Previous experience in SACS and other offshore engineering applications </li><li> Previous experience in the execution of FEED and EPC Projects </li><li> Should be proficient in Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, MATHCAD, Foundation 3D, STAAD and STADDpro) </li><li> Should also be familiar with editing, opening, and reading drawings in AutoCAD / Microstation </li><li> Professional level of ability in the application of standards, processes, and procedures and how they are used in work execution </li><li> Professional level of knowledge of applicable codes and standard </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
