Senior Structural Engineer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for Senior Structural Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry. <br><ul><li> Provide Structural Engineering Expertise </li><li> Provide input to structural and layout studies </li><li> Define structural Engineering requirements for technical scopes </li><li> Development of deliverables and documentation required for use in offshore workpacks and in the supply chain </li><li> Support the development of and/or develop requisitions for the procurement of structural related material and equipment </li><li> Undertake Engineering checking of structural deliverables </li><li> Provide support to the Lead Structural Engineer and the project delivery team </li><li> Provide structural engineering technical expertise to the project </li><li> Resolve structural related engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes and standards </li><li> Adhere to procedures to assure technical integrity of structural designs </li><li> Provide support for interdiscipline considerations through attendance at required design reviews and undertaking inter discipline checking </li><li> Maintain own knowledge and understanding to meet competence requirememts of Senior structural Engineering </li><li> Provide feedback on lessons learnt to aide in continuous improvement </li></ul><br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Utilise software tools in design development and checking STAAD, PDMS, Navisworks , E3D </li><li> MSc, MEng or equivalent professional qualification or BSc, BEng or equivalent with extensive relevant experience.
