As a Statutory Taxes & Audit Manager, you will be responsible for Statutory Audit, coordinate with the external auditors and oversee tax filing of GSK group. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following: Provide first line financial leadership and ensure legal, regulatory and tax compliance are working closely with the Region to achieve objectives Manage the statutory audit process for the GSK Entities liaising with the External Auditors, and internal GSK teams both Local and Regional Ensure the preparation of GAAP adjustments and complete statutory accounts templates, compile information required to draft statutory disclosures, co-ordinate completion of direct tax disclosures co-ordinate external audit and resolve queries raised Gather relevant financial information to calculate relevant intra group pricing of products and services Oversee the Group’s Tax reporting process, including organizing deliverables and review of the tax calculations prepared by external tax experts Oversee preparation of Tax compliances, Indirect Tax, & statistical returns processes. Drive process improvements for the Tax, Transfer Pricing and Statutory Reporting activities Identify opportunities for utilizing technology solutions to improve the efficiency and quality of the service delivery and work closely with the global and regional Finance Familiar with all aspects of internal controls, financial reporting, financial statements under IFRS and EAS. Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Bachelor’s degree, 6+ years post qualification experience. CPA or equivalent, Big 4 Audit experience, SAP experience; Pharma experience would be an added advantage Good knowledge of IFRS, working knowledge of Tax laws and related regulations. Has the ability to deal with number of stake holders both internal and external and able to manage team. The Local Entity reporting requires an understanding of local accounting standards which can differ from Group Accounting Standards. understanding business issues and strong alignment to achieve business deliverables. Must be fluent in English – both written and spoken Ability to plan and manage workload to ensure all key deadlines is met Actively seek to improve processes, controls and expand effectiveness and efficiency Self-motivated and displays initiatively in solving problems Ability to work independently and as part of a team and shown initiative Ability to communicate, lead discussions and review on all finance related processes and controls Strong analytical and influencing Skills & problem-solving capabilities Why GSK?
