<p>I'm looking for an experienced communications professional who is keen to make a difference for people who need adult social care and support. Someone who is experienced in all aspects of media management, who can further support the work, and raise the profile of an adult social care charity, and the difference it makes to people.</p>
<p>This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, maybe someone keen to work in a smaller organisation, and can support the charity with their high-profile agenda. You do not need to bring experience of adult social care, really what this charity needs is a creative individual, who can influence ongoing positive change and can keep things ticking over for this period of change, to be reactive and maintain the communications function.</p>
<p>Duties include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Monitor media inbox, respond to journalists, develop relationships, draft and clear responses</li>
<li>Draft and issue press releases</li>
<li>Make practical arrangements for availability of spokespeople for interviews/broadcast</li>
<li>Internal communications - weekly bulletin</li>
<li>General comms administration</li>
<li>Managing social media channels, mainly Twitter</li>
<li>Update the charity's website</li>
</ul>

<p>This is likely to require a day in the London office around the start of the placement for introductions, but otherwise this role is fully remote.</p>
