Job Description Overview of the Role: Plan, develop, complete and maintain automation test scripts, utilities, data sets leveraging commercial and/or open source tools. Develop automation framework and tools as needed. Develop a solid understanding of Voice and Voicemail business to enable effective test planning and execution. Develop test plans and update on a regular basis as new functionality/features are added or updated. Interact with multi-functional teams to understand the product requirements. Interact with adjacent voice services to fix and test end to end functionality of Voicemail from various access sites. Work closely with other voice QA teams to help test multi-functional changes across the organization. Communicate test result and testing status throughout testing and opening tickets with appropriate teams for resolution of any testing issues. Update JIRA tickets on all aspect of testing phases and be accountable for blessing the releases or any changes delivered out of QA. Work closely within a dynamic team to quickly adapt to requirements with understanding of stakeholders, product, customer experience, and solution. Ensures solutions are well engineered, operable, maintainable, and delivered on schedule. Be open and able to adapt to new development and testing technologies. Self-motivated, having good team spirit, with the drive to solve problems and expand knowledge. Preferred Skills & Experience: Experience with all areas of testing, including unit, integration, regression, and load/performance testing. Knowledge about continuous integration and continuous delivery and familiarity with tools to accomplish it. Working knowledge and experience of voice provisioning. Knowledge of customer experience with TUI is a must. 10+ years of integration, system, and functional test experience on Voicemail application services. Day to day operations include: handle all application reported issues manage application cloud based performance issues upgrades security patches user reported tickets plan for various operations reporting measurement on-call duties agile methodology devops approach About the TEAM: The Xfinity Voicemail team supports the cloud based voicemail service for all residential, small/medium size business, and Xfinity wireless subscribers. The team handles all operation support including but not limited to application support, 3rd level user support, application monitoring and incident management.
