Material Planner

We collaborate with multiple internal teams to make sure that material deliveries meet the manufacturing schedule to create our final product<br><br><b>Play a key role in on-time manufacturing delivery</b><br><br>As a Material Planner, you'll be dedicated to ensuring on-time delivery from the launch to the customer. You'll play a key role in our manufacturing plan, coordinating and expediting the flow of materials. Planning and scheduling according to production needs, you'll use in-depth knowledge of concepts, methods and procedures.<br><br>As a Material Planner, you will be responsible for:<br><ul><li>Managing master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. <br></li><li>Optimizing inventory and process improvements.<br></li><li>Exchanging data and information interaction concerns and also improvements in products, processes and procedures.<br></li><li>Handling standardized manufacturing processes. Guidelines for choosing the right actions. Some latitude in ways of working and planning.<br></li><li>Ensuring operational alignment with planning and KPI's to optimize inventory and process improvements<br></li><li>Using root cause analysis and problem-solving methodology to steer Continuous Improvement and contribute to innovative development<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><ul><li>Have demonstrable experience of working as a Material Planner on a production ship floor.<br></li><li>Be able to show experience using MRP (Materials Requirements Planning) systems such as Oracle<br></li><li>Be a good team player, enjoy collaborating and solving problems with others<br></li><li>Be excited by and demonstrate an ability to learn new processes and applications<br></li><li>Have experience in Lean / six sigma, although this is not essential.<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognise that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
