êton’s Power Systems Division is currently seeking a full-time Engineering Co-Op to join our team. This position is based at one of the four Power Systems Division facilities in the greater Milwaukee area (Waukesha or South Milwaukee, WI). The position could run from June ’23 to December ’23 OR it could run from September ’23 to December ’23 depending on the student’s availability. The Co-Op student is an integral part of our engineering team. Working alongside experienced engineers, the Engineering Co-Op performs engineering analyses, creates detailed designs, executes prototype builds, and develops verification tests – all contributing to the overall execution of functional initiatives. In this role, you will: Develop, sustain, and improve product design and product definition data (bills of materials, 3D models, drawings, and specifications). Learn and perform engineering analysis and digital simulation leveraging advanced tools (CAD, FEA, statistical tolerance analysis, computational analysis - MATLAB, etc.). Support production and manufacturing engineering with prototype and pilot builds. Collaborate with global design and manufacturing teams. Coordinate the execution of functional and reliability test plans utilizing both internal and external lab resources. Support production manufacturing and manufacturing engineering with process improvements and resolution of production and testing issues. Develop sub-system functional and reliability test plans and coordinate the execution of the tests using both internal and external lab resources. Coordinate and execute sub-system level design reviews. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution. Minimum 2.8 GPA. Able to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future. No relocation is offered for this role. Candidates must reside in the greater Milwaukee area. Preferred Qualifications: Previous internship experience. Experience in 3D modeling. Hands-on experience building prototypes or other equipment.
