With 64 private patient rooms, 14 operating rooms and four intensive care unit rooms, the facility was designed to provide a comforting environment that is innovative, efficient and centered on the patient experience. The campus features a park-like setting with landscaping and a walking path that winds through the grounds and connects to Millennium Park. The Department of Cardiology at Barnes-Jewish West County is a highly specialized, full-service department which strives to meet all patient and clinician needs in diagnostic imaging. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose The Cardiac Sonographer performs a variety of cardiac testing, including treadmill stress testing, holter monitoring, transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echo, stress echo and cardiac doppler. Responsibilities Performs tests and procedures at various locations.� Maintains accurate patient logs. Updates daily charges in the computer, utilizes cardiac lab menus in the computer. Maintains cardiac lab patient files.
