Field Sales Engineer

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides solutions for various customer-specific applications Oversees and develops detailed instructions for customer implementation plans. Oversees and develops the publication of technical information on specific applications Interfaces with design and manufacturing engineering and production personnel to develop solutions and ensure successful implementation. Oversees, develops, and presents product presentations and applications notes for Socket and Thermal Test and interface products. Provides customer support for Socket and Thermal Test Products Issues Will be required to help install and debug products at customer sites. Provides technical support to Boyd sales staff in determining feasibility of products for customer requirements. Coordinates with Marketing and Product Managers to define, support and implement new Sockets and Thermal Test products. May serve as a company liaison on specific and complex technical products. SKILLS: Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors. Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. ABILITIES: Read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Develop presentations and presents information to technical management, industry groups. MEASURE OF ACCOUNTABILITY: Development of an applications function in US Western Region. Evidence of effective communication and development of technical information and solutions to customers. Key Member of Product Management Team to roll out and support Boyd Products and customer sites. >
