As a Calibration System Support Specialist you will be responsible for supporting the establishment, implementation, management of continuous improvement for the environment, health and safety engineering compliance programs. GSK employees working in Montana are excluded from the Company mandate per House Bill 70 As a Calibration System Support Specialist you will: Make Usage Decisions (U.D.) Be responsible for Calibration Work Orders Revise SOPs as assigned. Comply with SOP and Departmental Documentation requirements. Attend all mandatory training and maintain training forms and files. Adhere to all GSK Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures as applicable for functional area. Manage multiple projects and tasks in order to achieve deliverables and adhere to timelines. Ensure efficient coordination of projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor. Assist in monitoring and reporting of KPI’s and metrics. Assume technical authority on usage decisions. Escalate issues that could present a cGMP noncompliance or an unsafe work environment. Drive and lead change through others by constantly examining existing processes and systems to determine more efficient and improved ways to do things. Bridge gap between technical and non-technical arenas. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: Responsible for ensuring C&M activities are performed per GSK procedures and regulatory guidelines Assist with corrective actions related to Calibration and Measures topics. Develop, author and modify departmental LSOP’s as needed in support of daily operations. Use established internal procedures as well as industry standards, Provide recommendations for instrumentation. Perform data entry into calibration management (SAP) database Promote Living Safety within the Team. Escalate issues that could present a cGMP noncompliance or an unsafe work environment. Close out work orders on-time; adhering to a strict calibration schedule. Perform other duties as assigned by C&M Supervisor Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: 2+ years’ experience and knowledge of calibration principles within a cGMP Biotechnology / Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree. Experience in OSHA, NIOSH, ANSI, NFPA, and EPA rules. Effective oral and written communication skills. Experience with auditing. Ability to work on assignments that are complex in nature, in which independent action and some degree of initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations. 1-5 years of experience in similar role Why GSK?
