Job Summary The Sr. Quality Engineer will be responsible for crafting, developing, implementing and executing tests for our various platforms. With a particular focus on driving test automation, the Senior Quality Engineer will support fast-paced testing of web sites, web platforms, APIs and systems infrastructure. This will ensure that test programs are delivered at high quality, on-schedule, on-budget and that our platforms and services are optimally deployed to our employee customers. With a focus on shifting the testing involvement toward the beginning of the overall development effort a person in this role will work closely with architects, developers, project managers and product owners to understand and design technology solutions to the business problems. Ok-now we can insert a traditional job description here: What You’ll Do: Responsible to perform and coordinate manual testing and automation activities, programs/projects, and partnerships with quality team to deliver automated process and workflows on all projects in compliance with current QE Standard processes Collaborating with multi-functional teams including product owners, Dev and quality teams to ensure the quality of software releases as it relates to demonstrating test automation Document, implement, monitor, and carry out all test automation processes for Validation as per standards defined by the organization Develop the test automation plan including identifying tasks, dependencies and participants required to mitigate the risks to system quality and acquire stakeholder support for this plan Develop, Review and Maintain the Regression Test Automation Cases documents Here are some of the specific technologies we use for Insights & Analytics: Java JavaScript Junit JSON XML Selenium Jira GitHub What You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related field 5 - 8 years of experience of IT Experience in QA/Software Testing 5+ years of experience in Automation using Java and Selenium Experience with testing both .NET and Java applications Experience in setting up, implementing, and maintaining the test automation Selenium Framework Experience in Java programming and developing the Java Scripts Experience in testing Micro services and Web services applications Proven understanding in RESTful Web API framework using Postman Experience in working with NoSQL databases like Mongo DB Experience working in agile/scrum product development environment Experience in version control/source control management tool like GitHub Experience in CICD pipeline and build tools – Jenkins/Concourse Experience with JIRA or other project management, and Test Management tools like ALM Octane.
