Suggests improvements in products, processes and procedures.<br><br>As a Procurement Buyer, you will be responsible for:<br> <br><ul><li>Requesting Quotations, price and lead time negotiations with suppliers to mitigate inflation and meet deflation targets</li><li>Owning daily MRP review and convert open requisitions in line with expected SLA timing.</li><li>Fulfiling PO process in line with procurement standard and production schedule: issue PO, PO Acknowledgement and expediting.</li><li>Understanding strategies for assigned commodities and proactively drive initiatives to meet procurement objectives such as develop new suppliers</li><li>Assessing regularly supplier capabilities and make recommendations on supplier acceptability</li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br> <br><ul><li>Have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline, or equivalent knowledge and experience.</li><li>Have significant experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing or materials and planning</li><li>Have good experience dealing with suppliers and supplier metrics.</li><li>Possess strong knowledge and understanding of MRP processes and systems</li><li>Have excellent communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills and able to build and expand on new and existing supplier relationships</li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
