As an IWS Integrated Applications Engineer, you will be in charge of preparing basic well design, technical requirements and operational plans to accomplish both Baker Hughes and customer&
39;s technical and financial goals.<br />
<br />
In this role, you will be responsible for:</p>

<ul>
<li>Ensuring all engineering activities are in line with HSE policies and procedures, and drive HSE culture.</li>
<li>Preparing of well design, modeling and analysis of various drilling/cleanout/intervention strings using engineering software such as JewelSuite Drilling Engineering and WellPlan.</li>
<li>Performing torque and drag, hydraulics, hole cleaning and displacement modeling for each assembly planned to be deployed in a well via engineering softwares.</li>
<li>Analyzing and recommending optimized workstrings and bottomhole assemblies of various types.</li>
<li>Communicating effectively with project stakeholders, and making recommendations</li>
<li>Preparing and participating in peer reviews, peer assists, and other quality assurance activities related to the project.</li>

To be successful in this role you will:</p>

<ul>
<li>Have a bachelor&
39;s degree in Petroleum Engineering or Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, with master&
39;s in Petroleum or Oil &amp; Gas or Well Engineering</li>
<li>Have 5+ years of relevant experience in well construction, completions, intervention and/or optimization.</li>
<li>Possess interpersonal skills to work well with colleagues across all businesses or cultures and establish credibility with senior leaders.</li>
<li>Have excellent analytics and problem-solving skills, including ability to form hypotheses and move forward in the absence of complete information.</li>
<li>Possess MS office suite, power BI or other analytical tools, well engineering and design software knowledge.</li>
<li>Have excellent English oral and written communication skills.</li>
</ul>
