Working on large scale projects with cutting-edge technology, we constantly improve and innovate.<br><br><b>Partner with the best</b><br><br>As a Lead Materials Engineer you will develop new coating/surface modification technologies ensuring the best compatibility with the unconventional fluids involved in the new Energy Transition equipment. In this role you will collaborate with internal and external cross functional teams, from an early research phase (lab-scale) to the full technology deployment step.<br><br>As a Lead Materials Engineer, you will be responsible for:<br><ul><li>Understanding of the chemical interaction of materials and environments involved in the operating conditions of the newest Energy Transition products.</li><li>Researching and development of surface treatments/protection able to withstand environments/processes involving supercritical CO2 and oxyfuel combustion</li><li>Developing timelines and milestones for projects, identify risks and issues, and appropriate plans to address</li><li>Identifying intellectual property and patentable inventions</li><li>Building partnerships with academia, start-ups, and technology developers</li><li>Partnering with Engineering Department to develop roadmaps and design purpose-made validation test campaigns</li><li>Playing an active role in scientific dissemination by presenting at conferences/events and publishing technical papers</li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><ul><li>Have MSc or PhD degree in a related field such as Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Energy Engineering.</li><li>Have knowledge of Energy Transition and new energy solutions</li><li>Have technical expertise in materials/coatings characterization and testing</li><li>Have knowledge of the material properties (metallic and non-metallic)</li><li>Be able to fluently speak in English (oral and written)</li><li>Demonstrate effective leadership skills with the ability to influence and build relationships with the team and the internal and external customers</li><li>Be able to travel internationally</li><li>Be a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to solve problems and provide solutions</li><li>Exhibit the highest standards of ethical conduct and responsibility for fully understanding and complying with company policies</li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
