<p>VersaTech is an Automation company with over 500 people and $75M+ in annual sales. VersaTech offers Instrumentation and Electrical services to the oil and gas market including construction, maintenance, commissioning and loop checking. VersaTech has offices in Houston, Dilley, Midland, New Orleans, Africa, and Dubai. Our scope of work includes both onshore and offshore projects in the US and overseas.</p>
<p>VersaTech has openings for Instrumentation and Electrical Planner at our Angolan Affiliate, TEST Angola. This position is a 28/28 rotation schedule in Angola Africa.</p>

<p>The candidate must have Instrumentation and Electrical Construction Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. The Ideal candidate would have Project Management experience and have worked in a Planning and Budgeting Capacity.</p>

<p>While the Position is for a Planner, we are emphasizing the importance of having the I&E Construction Knowledge to be able to independently develop the tasks, time to execute, sequencing and labor for each task.</p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p>· Support the Planning, Scheduling and Budgeting activities for Small Capital Projects ($10,000 to $3 Million USD) for an Oil Field Services Contractor. The Facilities and Projects are executed for Onshore Tank Systems, Gas Plants, and an Offshore Oil Field that consists of approximately 133 Platforms. There are approximately 40 - 50 active projects that are working simultaneously that can range from Well Hook Ups, ESD Replacements to larger upgrades and installation of new equipment.</p>
<p>· Must be able to review I&E Drawings and Work Packs to break the project down into tasks, calculate quantities and labor units per task, and update both the individual project schedules and the Master Schedule for all ongoing Instrumentation and Electrical Construction work in the Field.</p>
<ul>
<li>Provide Scheduling Data to Mechanical Contractors and other planners that are updating Master Schedules.</li>
<li>Forecast manpower requirements for projects</li>
<li>Request and track updates from the Field on Completed Tasks to accurately measure and report Percentage Completion</li>
<li>Track Materials, Third Party Contractors, equipment and other associated services that could impact project delivery.</li>
<li>Interface with Relevant Stakeholders including Facilities Engineers, Construction Superintendents, Designers, Operations Manager, and Field Supervisors to collect data</li>
<li>Send out weekly reports for project completion and tracking.</li>

<p><strong>Job Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience with Instrumentation and Electrical Construction in the Oil and Gas Industry serving in a Project Management, Coordinator, or Superintendent with Planning and Labor Estimating Experience</li>
<li>Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Project Manager or Superintendent in the oil and gas industry.</li>
<li>Experience with Planning Software (Primavera or MS Project) is preferred, but not required.</li>
<li>Must be able to use MS Office Software products (Excel and Word) at a high level.</li>
<li>Ability to use Windows based PC Systems to prepare reports and complete and organize paperwork to track and Report Progress</li>
<li>Knowledge of the types of materials and installation methods for Instrumentation and Electrical Construction Practices in the Oil and Gas</li>
<li>Ability to think critically, troubleshoot problems and evaluate solutions.</li>
<li>Ability to Effectively Communicate with a diverse group of Nationalities and Cultures in written and verbal form.</li>
