Description of the Position The Manufacturing Engineering Team is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to play a role in digitalization of industrial processes and procedures in an electronics manufacturing environment. You will support solutions already put in place while developing and documenting new solutions in line with Schneider’s objectives and targets. You will have the opportunity to assist the manufacturing engineering team with various tasks related to improving production quality and efficiency with different IIoT tools. What do you get to do in this position? Support tasks related to trouble shooting, improving and documenting a holistic automation solution developed in-house with support of different IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) tools. Deploy, improve and document a PLC solution across the production floor that is integrated to a world-class Schneider Manufacturing Execution System. Support real-time data reporting capabilities and modifications through data visualization software like Tableau and AVEVA. Document and improve existing automation solutions and identify any gaps with corporate targets. Migrate data, forms and workflows from a legacy server to a cloud-based solution (SharePoint). Update websites used internally for production management using SQL, HTML and CSS. What qualifications will make you successful This job might be for you if you: You are a Software or Electrical engineering undergraduate student. You have a high-level understanding of programming languages (SQL/Node-RED/XML/CSS/HTML). You have basic knowledge of cloud computing technologies and possibilities. You are curious about new technologies and looking to solve real-world problems in a manufacturing environment.
