Global Supply Chain Service Parts Manager

Department/Position Summary: The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for the overall forecasting and demand-planning process for global service spare parts. This includes improve the monthly S&OP cycle as well as develop the information needed to execute the S&OP for service spare parts. Working with the Global Technical Service team to consolidate forecast inputs, coordinate cross functional planning activities, identify and resolve variances and track inventory performance. Goal is to delivery high customer fill rate with an efficient inventory solution. Core Responsibilities: * Ownership for spare parts global S&OP process * Manage spare parts global forecast consolidation, planning and inventory control processes * Optimize global spare parts inventory levels to meet customer service, business continuity and cost objectives throughout the global distribution network linking suppliers, distribution centers, trunk stock and customers. * Make recommendations to SCM management for conduct of spare part inventory and planning activities, objectives etc. * Act as the coordinator between SCM and other functions for issue resolution for products in the spare parts supply chain * Recommend spare parts inventory models and spare parts inventory management solutions * Ensure that the spare parts demand forecast is shared & received in the correct format with the appropriate level of detail and timing required by all planning partners including documented assumptions. * Influence and collaborate with key global business partners in technical service, operations, & finance. * Work with and assist technical service leadership in generation of a consensus demand plan. * Collaborate with business partners to identify and resolve discrepancies between forecasts * Oversee product level intercompany orders, review with key partners and reconcile as needed to support regional demand plans. * Manage deadlines in the S&OP cycle to ensure all data is prepared for monthly global business review. * Create ad hoc reports that assist with the management of all facets of the supply chain as directed * Document minutes and actions from all tactical planning meetings and follow up with responsible parties for action completion to target dates, raising issues of non-compliance Required: * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business * 5-10 years’ experience in supply chain * Demonstrated competency with cross-functional engagement and collaboration * Proven analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills * Working knowledge of material planning principles * Proficient computer skills – particularly Microsoft Office applications Preferred: * Knowledge of D365 * APICS training and/or certification * Experience with electro-mechanical products, markets and suppliers * Understanding lean manufacturing and inventory management principles Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
