­ditional Information About the Role BJC's Central Staffing Office has an opening for a Student Nurse Tech. This role will provide patient care throughout our system. Base pay PLUS: $15/hour float differential Part Time schedule; 24hrs/wk Shift differentials Mileage reimbursement Day & Night shifts available Overview BJC Corporate Health Services comprises several organizations that share a dedication to creating and maintaining healthy workplaces. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Provides multi-skilled, direct patient care, under the direction and supervision of a registered professional nurse. Responsibilities Assists nurse with patient and family education. Documents all patient care activities provided with correct medical terminology. Acts as 1:1 patient safety sitter as necessary. Ensures availability of supplies and equipment to meet each patient's needs. Implements direct patient care under the supervision of the nursing team. Collects clinical data and information on patients and reports abnormal findings to the nurse. Instructs patients in preparations for tests and procedures.
