Within operations for clients there is a requirement for a Completions Field Specialist to assist in the preparation of equipment onshore and installation at the worksite. The primary business currently is Annulus Safety Valves (ASV) and Wellscreens, although there is a growing demand for gravel pack operations for a local client. All these operations require a significant amount of preparation onshore such as inspection, testing, completion of documentation, preparing for load-out and post operation backload inspection and reporting. The workload will be a mixture of onshore and offshore, the Field Specialist will be expected to be flexible. Currently ASV's are prepared by the workshop ASV Technician, due to the volume of work the Field Specialist will assist in workshop activities when there are no ongoing rigsite operations. As and when new equipment is introduced, the Field Specialist will assist to carryout successful deployment. The Field Specialist should be prepared to assist with the installation of equipment such as packers, safety valves, intervention plugs, straddles, wellscreens and gravel pack operations. The opportunity will exist for cross training in other completion product lines and liner equipment. <br><br>Duties & Responsibilities: <br><ul><li> Preparation of completion equipment and accurate completion of associated documentation. </li><li> Check equipment onshore and offshore prior to installation and assist with loadout and backload operations. </li><li> Assist in workshop with equipment maintenance and testing. </li><li> Assist with installation of completion equipment at client worksites. </li><li> Assist with documentation pertaining to installation of completion equipment at client worksites and in the office. </li><li> Ensure required training is undertaken to a satisfactory level of achievement. </li><li> Maintain a professional demeanor and attitude and ensure that - Passport; Medical Certificate; Immunizations; Offshore Survival Certification and any other necessary certification/course's are kept up to date. </li><li> Attend customer pre & post job meetings as required. (Completions Well On Paper, After Action Review Etc.) </li><li> Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfill these. </li></ul> <br><br><b> Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Must possess a good level of general education, including Mathematics and English. </li><li> General mechanical aptitude. </li><li> 2-5+ Years Upper Completions experience. </li><li> Experience with Gravel Pack Pumping is desirable. </li><li> General product knowledge. </li><li> General mechanical ability. </li><li> Self-motivator, self-starter. </li><li> Good communication skills. </li><li> Good English skills required - written and spoken. </li><li> Previous Weatherford experience would be beneficial. </li><li> Ability to work in a team environment, as well as an ability to discern key information to resolve potential problems. </li><li> Good computer literacy. </li></ul>
