<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for a Process Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. <br><br> Reporting to the Discipline Lead Engineer, the successful applicant will initially be based in our client's office in Brisbane, working as part of the Flow Assurance team. <br><br><b> Responsibilities </b><br><ul><li> Design and optimisation of gas and water gathering network facilities </li><li> Development of flow assurance simulations, and preparation of hydraulic modelling reports </li><li> Participate in workshop reviews including Risk Assessments, HAZOPs, Design Reviews </li><li> Develop typical Process Engineering documentation including PFDs, P&IDs, Heat & Mass Balances, Line Lists, Operating Envelopes </li><li> Occasional site travel may be required, however role is predominantly Brisbane based </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent field </li><li> Approximately 5+ years experience in a relevant Process Engineering role </li><li> Familiarity with CGS industry, gas & water gathering design, and flow assurance would be advantageous </li><li> Able to apply the theories, codes and standards appropriate to the Process discipline </li><li> Design engineering related experience within the Oil & Gas / CSG industry preferred </li><li> Experience participating in HAZOP and HAZID studies - preferred </li><li> Familiar with industry standard software (e.g. HYSYS) <br> </li></ul><br> Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role. <br><br>If you're a Process Engineer with around 5 years' experience, ready for your next career move, then we are keen to hear from you today. <br><br>Apply now and take the next step in your career with this exciting opportunity! <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
