The KPMGI People & Culture team is responsible for delivering a People Strategy that supports delivery of the Global Business Strategy, Impact Plan and other key strategic priorities. With more than 1,600 FTEs in Global roles, it does this by working collaboratively with colleagues around the world, to deliver leading HR services to the global functions, regions, member firms and staff. This will be achieved by being bold, innovative and acting as role models to provide an outstanding, seamless service that is widely recognised as world class, both internally and in the market. What you will do Create a world class employee experience to attract the best talent, deliver outstanding results and develop skills and capabilities to enhance careers in KPMGI and Member Firms'; facilitate delivery of the ambition, a comprehensive People Strategy has been produced with the aim of creating a more effective employee proposition and experience and enhance the global team's contribution to the delivery of the Collective Strategy Assist with implementing the People Strategy which consists of five pillars of focus which form the basis of the role over the next three years: Fix the Basics; Talent to Deliver Excellence; A World Class Employee Experience; Leaders that Inspire and Deliver in the Global Environment; Integrated, Efficient, Caring Place to Work; Transformation of the People and Culture Team Design, implement and manage effective Employee Relations, Performance Management and Compensation programs for global functions in line with member firm standards; partner with the KPMGI senior leaders and HR leadership teams to establish appropriate strategic Human Resources programs unique to KPMGI and ensure compliance with member firm guidelines, policies and procedures Oversee and drive the global delivery and execution of HR programs and services in a consistent manner within KPMGI, Global Functions or Member Firm relevancy and based on a deep understanding of the global business strategy, environment and the people management implications; drive global talent and succession planning initiatives for KPMGI functions including customized development of High Potentials and Senior Leaders within the Global Organization Collaborate with key leaders within the HR Service Delivery Model to ensure key HR programs are globally aligned and delivered to KPMGI, Global Functions or Member Firm's effectively and efficiently; develop the KPMGI HR strategic plan and objectives while collaborating with Global HRBAs and HRBPs to understand function specific business conditions and priorities Measure, monitor and hold their organization accountable for HR service delivery alignment, performance, measurement and quality; identify global trends within KPMGI, Global Functions or Member Firms and validate issues for action within the HR Service Delivery Model What you bring to the role Minimum fifteen years professional experience, with at least five years functional leadership within a corporate human resource function, preferably with global experience Seasoned HR Practitioner with a proven track record in Professional Services; significant experience in Transforming an HR function by deploying technology, redesigning processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness and efficient deployment of resources Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field from an accredited college/university; MBA preferred; CPHR, CHRL, CHRE or SPHR. Experience in designing and deploying initiatives to create a world class employee experience such as Digital experience (DX), cultural initiatives to promote pride in an organization focused on profitability and the ESG and IDE agendas, career development and lifelong learning and health and wellbeing including work patterns and work life balance Material experience in managing behavioral change, showing an ability to deploy an agreed method and approach but capable of demonstrating agility to maintain momentum Able to develop and maintain a change narrative including the case for change; comfortable managing senior stakeholders; confident and effective in interacting with Global Leadership and Senior Partners in Member Firms Possess the core skills required to work in a global environment including relationship building, gaining trust and credibility, collaboration, facilitation and enablement, multi-cultural environments, distributed teams in multiple countries; demonstrated ability to navigate a highly matrixed international organization Our Values, The KPMG Way Integrity, we do what is right | Excellence, we never stop learning and improving | Courage, we think and act boldly | Together, we respect each other and draw strength from our differences | For Better, we do what matters KPMG in Canada is a proud equal opportunities employer and we are committed to creating a respectful, inclusive and barrier-free workplace that allows all of our people to reach their full potential.
