As a Senior Director Productivity and Collaboration, you will have full end to end accountability for the design, build & run of all technology stacks across the Microsoft O365 domain which has global coverage and will see its services consumed by over 130,000 GSK employees and partners. You will be responsible for maintaining a strategic partnership with Microsoft that drives the most out of GSK’s investment across Productivity at GSK, whilst also leveraging Microsoft’s innovation pipeline to further GSK’s ambition in a frictionless Productivity Experience. Finally, you’ll have accountability for the reinvention of Connect GSK intranet and the design and development of the GSK News platform which reaches all of GSK’s Global community. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following: Provides GSK with in-depth insight into current and emerging technologies that will benefit GSK both financially and operationally Responsibility for defining the Productivity technical & organisational transformation roadmap Defines GSK Productivity strategy to align with new business models, and provide optimal levels of adaptability to support future business change (Merger, Acquisition, Divestment) Ensures technical currency of Productivity assets, whilst transforming to evergreen operating model Transforms and sustains an effective Productivity DevOps organization through skills & operating model transformation Leads by example on all HR activity, recruitment, recognition, development planning, feedback to ensure a transparent, high trust high challenge and respectful working environment from joining to leaving GSK Leads and clearly defines working arrangements / contracts with partners and 3rd parties so that it is both financially and operationally advantageous for GSK Manages the Productivity annual OPEX and CAPEX budget while always seeking optimisation to enable reinvestment within GSK Tech. Manages GSK Productivity partners to ensure communication robustness on current and future technology capabilities within Productivity Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Graduate in Information Technology or related discipline Total 18+ years of experience out of which 10+ years experience in leading teams and balancing conflicting priorities Experience in leadership role in at least one transformational programme both organisational and technology Experience of working in a global company including being part of a globally dispersed, multi-time zone team Experience of working through contract negotiations with partners and 3rd parties Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Experience in pharmaceutical or other regulated industry Demonstrates strong leadership skills Demonstrates excellent judgment and reliability in the most high-stress situations Possesses strong technical skills in Productivity domain Looks for improvements in new and existing processes and questions the ‘status quo’ Ability to influence technical direction and service level agreement at a Global Level Effectively able to communicate and influence technical discussions with senior leadership when necessary Mentors team members, creates a sense of ownership & accountability within the team
