Who are we hiring? • Assist the FP&A lead in managing FP&A processes for four key MSG Sphere divisions: Sponsorship, Exosphere, Premium Hospitality, and Corporate Events. • Assist with managing total Sponsorship revenue & AOI budget between MSG Sphere and MSG Entertainment (MSG Live, Productions and Marquee Events). • Assist with rollout of FP&A processes for new MSG Sphere areas (Exosphere). For MSG Sphere divisions that align with MSGE base business divisions (e.g. Sponsorships), help establish consistency between two areas regarding FP&A processes. • Assist with revenue recognition process, including contract and deal P&L analysis for MSG Sphere divisions noted above. • Assist in the tracking and reconciliation of fulfillment / activation costs for the MSG Sphere Sponsorship divisions. • Help prepare monthly forecast packages for these businesses and serve as key contributor during the annual budgeting process. • Serve as key FP&A contact for MSGS on all Partnership related activities for core MSG Entertainment (including forecasts, deal analysis, and intercompany agreements). What will you do? • Assist with FP&A processes surrounding revenue recognition and G&A management (labor & non-labor) for the following MSG Sphere divisions: Sponsorship, Exosphere, Premium Hospitality, and Corporate Events. • Partner with FP&A lead in building automated dashboards to summarize monthly results, full year forecast projections, annual budget detail, and long-range plan projections. • Partner with accounting team in the overall month-end close process for MSG Sphere and MSG Entertainment. Additionally, assist with the preparation of all quarterly and year-end revenue recognition schedules relative to the Financial Reporting area, Deloitte, and Internal Audit. • Collaborate with Data & Analytics team to continually enhance the MP reporting process as well as overall operations. • Ad hoc projects as assigned. What do you need to succeed? • Minimum 10+ years of accounting or FP&A experience (public and/or private), with at least 8 years of FP&A experience required. • Communication Skills – must present themselves in a professional manner and communicate regularly with executives in multiple divisions. • Ability to multitask and manage timelines/deliverables of multiple projects. • Ability to work independently to accomplish assigned tasks with minimal supervision. • Advanced skills in Excel are required. • Skills in computer systems used by MSG, i.e., Oracle, Hyperion & Tableau preferred.
