As a Senior Consultant - VCPP, you will engage in customer-facing work focused on the delivery of VCPP solutions to our customers. Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing? The VCPP Senior Consultant will focus on successfully delivering VCPP Solutions This task will be accomplished through your technical expertise and leadership skills. You will use your in-depth knowledge of VMware products including core technologies You will work directly with our customers and other team members on the day-to-day activities involved with the post-sales implementation of VMware solutions. This includes customer’s challenges, business and technical requirements, proposing and designing solutions, delivery, and testing the platform. Within 60 days of employment, you will be able to leverage your knowledge of Public Cloud Infrastructures, virtualization, and VMware technology to make digital and workplace transformation possible. Advanced VCPP / VCD skills are a must for this role (Proven Design and Deployment experience) Network & Security knowledge is a plus What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis? Conduct your consulting engagements per VMware’s Consulting Methodology (Plan, Execute, Test, Document, Knowledge Transfer) Provide feedback on existing documentation and assist in the continuous improvement of consulting tools and knowledge Communicate across several levels of the customer’s hierarchy using your outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Create Intellectual Property and custom artifacts with an innovative mindset What is the leadership like for this role?
