The ON-CALL Supervisor (MAHP) will be responsible for assisting the PERMANENT supervisor in the day-to-day management activities, including planning, when the need arises (replacement or with high number of teammates for capacity). His functions may include the following management activities: receiving, operations support, picking, product moves for shipping purposes and order preparation. The incumbent must be able to prioritize the work volumes as well as to ensure that customer specifications are met or surpassed. His primary function will be of Team Lead when not called upon to act as an ON-CALL Supervisor. This position will be responsible for….. Plan and coordinate manpower needs in accordance with the delivery and order preparation schedule in order to maintain a balanced work flow in each AP sector while insuring a safe and efficient work environment; Plan the pre-shift meeting to communicate daily planning, coordinate workflow and give teammates their assignments; Set or adjust volume and work flow according to receiving schedule, to waves of orders to be prepped and shipped; Assist in the training of operating procedures, interpret company policies, communicate them and ensure they are enforced. Implement new instructions and make improvement recommendations; Ensure follow-up on each order/product through various reports from the WMS operating system; WMS troubleshooting and subject matter expert; Maximise customer service by making sure that all products and orders are received, prepped and shipped under the proper deadlines; Promote a safe and positive work climate that sponsors two-way communication ; Participate in continuous improvement of work processes, performance indicators, working conditions and administrative procedures to increase departmental efficiency. Take part in various projects and plan (customer) promotional events with process to assess evolution of event and make necessary adjustments; Perform any other tasks and responsibilities assigned by management; Qualifications and Skills 1 to 2 years of experience in similar work at FedEx Supply Chain or elsewhere, or as a team lead at FedEx Supply Chain; Excellent performance and safety records in their current position (no disciplinary measures whatsoever and no absenteeism problems); Knowledge of procedures of all sectors of production in the MDC; Knowledge on how to operate all types of Material Handling Equipment at the MDC, the RF scanners; Advanced Computer skills with ability to learn and understand different software : Advanced MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & Access) and WMS Ability to set priorities and to thrive in stressful environment; Autonomy, sense of initiative, analysis and organization, with flexibility and ability to adapt to ever changing priorities; Customer service oriented with good listening and communication skills; Leadership skills favoring teamwork and buy-in; Bilingualism (functional verbal and written skills); Knowledge of Automotive Hard Parts ''AHP'' business.
