Information Assurance Specialist - Journeyman

Chenega Professional & Technical Services, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is looking for an Information Assurance Specialist – Journeyman to support the U.S. Army Center of Military History (CMH) in the areas of Information Technology (IT) and Knowledge Management (KM). The CMH Program encompasses multiple projects that will establish a digital, searchable, scalable, computing environment that in its entirety will make up the Army Historical Digital Data (AHDD) system. This system will be a comprehensive digital collection of United States military data serving historians, Army leadership, and the public. The Information Assurance/Security Specialist II, under general supervision by the program manager, is responsible for all activities relating to IA procedures and systems. Responsibilities Develops and maintains information systems assurance documentation, security control compliance statements and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms). Under direction from the Cybersecurity Lead, confers with and advises on administrative policies and procedures and resolving technical problems, priorities, and methods. Consults with and advises other sections regarding internal controls and security procedures. Supports the following projects/initiatives: Army Historical Resources Online (AHRO) Unclassified; Development of an unclassified historical data repository. This repository shall be an open-source, Apache Lucene/Solaris software search application with a Government furnished user interface product. Army Historical Resources Online (AHRO) Classified, Maintenance and enhancement of the developed Classified War Repository. This is an open-source, industry standard software search application with a government-furnished user interface product. Army.Mil (CMH Public Facing Website) and Social Media Platforms; Document, implement, maintain, and integrate the Government selected/provided test information or content to History.Army.Mil (CMH Public Facing Website) and Social Media Platforms Army Museum Information Systems (AMIS) / Museum Support; Review of requirements and development of updates and enhancements for the Army Museum Information Systems (AMIS) / Museum Support CMH Intranet Development (SharePoint); Review of requirements and development of updates and enhancements for the CMH SharePoint Site. Maintaining of all software to meet accreditation requirements of the RMF IAW DoDI 8510.01. Automation of the processes of maintaining Army records pertaining to force structure and lineage based on an initial assessment. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Active Secret Clearance or higher Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in IA, Cyber/Information Security. Have at least one (1) year of Certification and Accreditation and Cyber Risk Management experience: DoD RMF (DoD 8500, DoD 8510, NIST 800-37/-53), system certification and accreditation at all classification levels (NIPRNET, SIPRNET and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS)). Minimum of one (1) year of work experience with eMASS Assets module in addressing vulnerability scan findings. Teleworking Permitted? Yes Teleworking Details Hybrid-1-2 days a week onsite
