You will discuss consequences of changes in products and processes for the own team in the manufacturing organization.<br><br>Successful candidate should expect to work in a fast-paced, customer focused production environment, providing quick and effective solutions to daily production issues.<br><br>As a Manufacturing Engineer, your main responsibilities will involve: <br><ul><li>Acting as a key member of the manufacturing engineering team, supporting major programs from development to production process planning, change management and continuous improvement methodologies<br></li><li>Liaising with internal departments (Purchasing, Quality, Integrated Project Teams) and, on occasion, dealing directly with the customer and supplier<br></li><li>Providing input into product changes, modifications and improvements, to ensure they are designed for efficient manufacture and assembly<br></li><li>Providing robust solutions to production issues ensuring cost, quality and time metrics<br></li><li>Acting as the Manufacturing Engineering authority on process planning, equipment, tooling and productivity<br></li><li>Creating documentation and instructions for production areas.<br></li><li>Lead and own manufacturing engineering work streams and projects<br></li><li>Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve manufacturing business milestones<br></li></ul><br><br><b> Fuel your passion </b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><ul><li>Have HNC/HND or equivalent experience in mechanical or manufacturing engineering discipline.<br></li><li>Have ability to use CAD (previous knowledge of Solidworks is an advantage) to design fixtures and analyse product designs.<br></li><li>Have current or recent manufacturing engineer position in similar engineering industry<br></li><li>Have experience in engineering processes & tooling capability<br></li><li>Have Strong experience in assembly techniques and good attention to detail of components and assemblies<br></li><li>Have background in reviewing and approving engineering drawings of components and assemblies<br></li><li>Have an understanding of MRP system, engineering and manufacturing Bill of Materials (SAP) would be an advantage<br></li><li>Have depth of experience in driving process improvement<br></li><li>Having good interpersonal skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team<br></li><li>Have working knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodology & tools<br></li><li>Have ability to efficiently convert technical information & engineering drawing data into work instructions & technical narratives (Essential)<br></li></ul><br><br><b> Work in a way that works for you </b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
