Logistics Co-ordinator

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for a Logistics Co-ordinator role to be based in Aberdeen. <br><br>The Logistics Project Co-ordinator will ensure the efficient and timely mobilisation of employees.Provide advice, support and guidance across the full People & Organisation (P&O) spectrum. <br><br><b> KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES </b> <br><ul><li> To provide telephone support to Tier 1, while only escalating queries to Tier 3 if absolutely necessary to do so. </li><li> Deliver an efficient Logistics service that offers effective, timely, high quality, expert advice to the business. </li><li> Monitoring of service provision, analysis of processes and data as well as continuous improvement of the service delivery </li><li> Provision of advice and support to key stakeholders on Logistics policies, procedures and legislation. </li><li> Interface with Business Partners to understand their needs and implement service delivery solutions that positively impact the end delivery to customers. </li><li> Act as main point of contact between offshore recruitment and site/focal points. </li><li> Support the P&O Process Owner to ensure all Logistics policies, processes and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated. </li><li> Accountable for delivery and customer satisfaction levels within Logistics Operations Support. </li><li> Management of accommodation bookings, maintaining relationships with hotel reservations and providing feedback. </li><li> Support and contribute to Wood redeployment process. </li><li> Supporting payroll investigations, overpayments/underpayments in line with company requirements and processes. </li><li> Support Logistics projects as assigned by P&O Support Services Manager or Centres of Excellence. </li><li> Undertake On-call and emergency response duties as required </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><b> Minimum Qualifications: </b><br><br> Demonstratable equivalent senior level experience <br><br><b> Minimum Experience: </b><br><ul><li> Focus on process standardisation and continuous improvement. </li><li> Proven ability to develop a good understanding of business issues and how to identify and deliver interventions and solutions to meet business needs. </li></ul><br><br><b> Job-Specific Skills: </b><br><ul><li> Understanding of financial and commercial impact of Logistics transactions </li><li> Ability to influence and motivate others </li><li> Up to date knowledge of logistics legislative requirements </li><li> Advanced Microsoft Office experience </li><li> Excellent customer service skills and expectations of delivery by team </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
