Senior Instrument Engineer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for Senior Instrument Designers with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry. <br><ul><li> Define instrument design requirements for technical scopes </li><li> Development of deliverables and documentation required for use in offshore workpacks and in the supply chain </li><li> Support the development of and/or develop requisitions for the procurement of instrument related material and equipment </li><li> Undertake design checking of instrument deliverables </li><li> Provide support to the Lead Instrument Engineer and the project delivery team </li><li> Provide instrument design technical expertise to the project </li><li> Resolve instrument related design issues by applying accepted principles, codes and standards </li><li> Adhere to procedures to assure technical integrity of instrument designs </li><li> Provide support for interdiscipline considerations through attendance at required design reviews and undertaking inter discipline checking </li><li> Maintain own knowledge and understanding to meet competence requirements of Senior Instrument Designer </li><li> Provide feedback on lessons learnt to aide in continuous improvement </li></ul><br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Utilise software tools in design development and checking eg Autocad, Intergraph, Navisworks, PDMS, E3D </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
