Senior C++ Engineer (Middleware Imaging Pipeline)

The Software group is looking for DevOps Engineer who are highly motivated, results-driven, and passionate about technologies to join our growing team to change the way the world interacts with security screening systems. Responsibilities Responsibilities: Develop C++ based middleware for ScanOS Add support for new X-Ray scanners into ScanOS Create interface for and support the integration of threat detection algorithms into ScanOS Perform code reviews of other team members code to maintain the quality of ScanOS Work collaboratively in a team of agile engineers. Contribute to team design discussions with detailed technical information. Develop code with quality, scalability, and extensibility. Collaborate on documentation, participate in code reviews with Bitbucket CI process. Identify strategic/tactical solutions and provide risk assessments and recommendations. Qualifications BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience. 3-5 years of work experience Excellent teamworking and communication skills Knowledge of programming languages, C++ & Python Awareness of modern C++ patterns and best practices Knowledge of Operating Systems, Ubuntu Knowledge of intersystem communication architectures, network and local Strong problem-solving skills Good attention to detail Excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time OSI Systems, Inc. has three operating divisions: (a) Security, providing security and inspection systems, turnkey security screening solutions and related services; (b) Healthcare, providing patient monitoring, diagnostic cardiology and anesthesia systems; and (c) Optoelectronics and Manufacturing, providing specialized electronic components and electronic manufacturing services for original equipment manufacturers with applications in the defense, aerospace, medical and industrial markets, among others.
