QC Inspector - AOI Operator (2nd Shift)

PFC Flexible Circuits Ltd, a division of OSI Electronics, is seeking a QC Inspector to join their team. The QC inspector is responsible for properly inspecting PCB circuitry for any defects through visual inspection or using AOI machine and perform rework when appropriate. ***This position is for 2nd shift: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM Responsibilities Operate AOI machine to perform inspections on inner-layer and outer-layer image for peeling, openings, shorts, etc. before and after the etching/plating process. Check the trace width and space to ensure that customer requirements are met. Fix the circuitry if there is any shorts identified using the AOI verification unit. Perform visual inspection. Complete forms and documentation as related to reporting inspection results and maintain inspection log. Using defect or non conformance data, effectively communicate quality issues to QC Manager. Perform 5S housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Assists in training individuals and other team associates as assigned. Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Years of experience may be substituted in lieu of education. QC and/or visual inspection experience in PCB or semiconductor packaging industry or similar field. Ability to use/learn AOI user interface software and load/verify programs used in daily operations. Knowledge of using tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and stereo-microscope and other necessary tools. Read and understand customer drawings and specifications. Fluency in business language English. Knowledge on IPC-6013, IPC-A-600 specification is a plus.
