Our elite delivery team is focused on designing and implementing unique solutions for the market that leverage the full breadth of the Salesforce platform offering. We are seeking a tenured Salesforce Solution Architect with experience designing client solutions on the platform for multiple Salesforce cloud offerings and related cloud technologies to join the KPMG Salesforce practice. You'll work directly and collaboratively with technical, management, and client teams to deliver high quality customer engagement solutions and welcome opportunities to research and implement new technologies. What you will do The Salesforce Solution Architect will be comfortable in all aspects of Project delivery including solution design, platform configuration, technical specs, prototyping, requirements definition, technical and integration design decisions, and more. Your responsibilities will include: Development of CRM strategies, defining implementation roadmaps, and proposing client solutions built on the Salesforce platform Working closely with technical architects to design overall application architecture and system designs for client implementations of the platform and ensuring solutions align with business goals and functional designs while adhering to platform best practices. Assisting functional resources and business analysts with requirements gathering and design guidance for Salesforce platform components or related cloud solutions. Leading workshops with clients and documenting requirements and designs for Salesforce related solutions. Providing leadership and guidance to junior members of the project team throughout the implementation to ensure successful delivery of a project or sales pursuit activities. Acting as a strong advocate for adherence to Salesforce standards and best practices. Facilitating discussions with business and technical stakeholders to extract critical business requirements and present a technical vision and solutions in the form of platform capabilities, customizations, and integrations to meet client requirements and business needs. Responding to pre-sales and technical questions to provide product and business expertise to assist team in preparing and presenting proposals, RFP responses, and tailored demonstrations. Ability to be client-facing including effectively communicating with the client, leading meetings, and capturing and distributing action items. Assisting with providing inputs to the project plans, estimates and scope for sales proposals and statements of work. Staying current on Salesforce platform capabilities/offerings and related technologies, including continuous Salesforce feature releases. What you bring to the role 5+ years of hands on experience designing, configuring, and building solutions on the Salesforce platform. One of the core consulting track Salesforce certifications (Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Consultant, or Experience Cloud Consultant). Proven experience in a solution architect role leading the functional design and requirements for Salesforce implementation projects. A strong understanding of the core Salesforce data model and what capabilities are available through the various cloud offerings. Hands on experience configuring a breadth of different Salesforce features (ex. workflow rules, validation rules, matching rules, Flows, Process Builder, etc.). A strong understanding of Salesforce best practices around functional design and the ability to recommend options for clients around when configuration vs. customization is required. An understanding of the various Salesforce customization options available and what each is used for to achieve: Apex, LWC, etc. Experience working with technical team members to design integration architectures and data flows. Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate messaging around requirements, solution designs, and options to both business and technical stakeholders. Proven ability to create innovative solutions to solve complex business requirements, and streamline/automate business processes. Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, communication skills. Experience with leading or participating in the gathering and documenting of business processes and requirements for the system with key business users.
