Tool Pre-setter

<b>As a Tool Pre-Setter, you will be responsible for:</b></p>

<ul>
<li>Being aware of all safety hazards and follow all safety policies and procedures .</li>
<li>Assisting in maintaining plant production by making new products and repairs within scope of expertise.</li>
<li>Interpreting and following through on work orders following various safe work procedures.</li>
<li>The logistics of tooling stock control</li>
<li>Setting tooling for various machines by taking information from tool sheets &amp; setting sheets, then using a pre-setter machine to record dimensions to be transferred to CNC machine tools.</li>
<li>Preparing tools and equipment for the CNC Machines.</li>
<li>Taking part in a continuous improvement cycle for your area.</li>
</ul>

To be successful in this role you need:</p>

<ul>
<li>Previous relevant experience required or machining background</li>
<li>IT Literate</li>
<li>Problem solving skills and experience</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret routine instructions and engineering drawings</li>
<li>May perform quality assurance activities as required by manufacturing/engineering specifications and ISO requirements</li>
<li>Advanced office or technical skills, acquired through a combination of prior training and directly related experience</li>
<li>Strong Communication skills</li>
<li>Sound decision making and problem solving skills</li>
</ul>
