Mechanical Co-ordinator

<b>MECHANICAL COORDINATOR</b><br> Our Client, a global energy company, is looking for a <b>Mechanical Coordinator</b> for <b>Basra, Iraq</b> on a 28/28 rotation.<br> <br> You will be responsible for coordinating and following the preventive and corrective Mechanical Maintenance activities in the field in compliance with reference standards, policies and procedures, coordinating with production to guarantee the prompt, safe and environment respecting execution of all maintenance activities.<b> </b><br> <br> <br> <b>As a member of the Maintenance Team you will be responsible for</b>:<br>  <ul><li>Coordinating successful execution of preventative and corrective maintenance activities through effective planning, and execution.</li><li>Leading successful execution of non-routine maintenance and collaborates with the operations management and technicians to plan, manage, and coordinate related preventative maintenance, including repair and overhaul of equipment as necessary.</li><li>Utilization of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP MM) and coordinating with the operations management and technicians to create, assign, track and close all work orders such as service orders, preventative maintenance work orders and corrective maintenance work orders.</li><li>Ensuring all work is planned and performed in accordance with PNG and external standards, processes and procedures (SPI's, Integrity Management Plans, EH&S activities, etc.)</li><li>Working with operations managers and assists with preparing the scope of work, ensuring service contracts or purchase orders are in place, verifying qualifications of contractors, reporting review and acceptance, and communicating with other departments as appropriate.</li><li>Assessing and documenting maintenance activities, measurement of maintenance performance indicators, performing failure analysis, performing the assessment of availability, reliability, and cost, spare parts and materials, and equipment tracking.</li><li>Ensuring all reports and findings are communicated to operating area managers and the management team.</li><li>Reviewing all work orders for timely completion with adequate documentation.</li><li>Analyzing, recommending, and implementing process improvements in areas that are inefficient.</li><li>Maintains controllable O&M expense metrics to improve budget development and review.</li><li>Understanding the operational economics of the operations.</li></ul><b>Skills & experience</b><br> specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in asset management, maintenance practices and the use of recognized CMMS software, ideally SAP MM.<ul><li>Producing reports and performing analysis from maintenance activities, including making recommendations on maintenance frequency and asset management activities.</li><li>Interpretation of internal or external business issues and recommends solutions.</li><li>Solving complex problems and takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.</li><li>Engineering technologist or Engineering degree, preferably Mechanical</li><li>Related Trade ticket is considered an asset</li><li>Planning/Scheduling Background considered an asset</li><li>Familiarity with CMMS programs - SAP MM preferable</li><li>experience in coordinating operations maintenance activities, within the oil & gas industry.</li><li>Proficiency in Asset Management and Maintenance analytic methods for assessing the scope and frequency of maintenance activities.</li><li>Proficiency in maintenance for piping systems, rotating equipment, system integrity, and measurement.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)</li><li>Possess excellent technical, administrative, and interpersonal skills</li><li>Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of facility operations, maintenance, and commercial impacts of maintenance activities</li><li>Working knowledge of MS Project</li><li>Ability to proactively identify and resolve root causes of mechanical failures</li><li>Previously involved with planning, scheduling, and/or communicating shutdown activities efficiently and effectively</li><li>Effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing to other individuals, teams, customers, and stakeholders of the business</li></ul><br /><br />With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil &amp; Gas, Power &amp; Renewables, Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining, Automotive and Chemicals sectors worldwide.With more than 100 offices in 45 countries, we are able to provide our clients with the engineering and technical expertise they need, wherever and whenever it is needed.
